doug hasnt said much lately, much to my dismay.......

so we just ratified our new contract. its good for 3 yrs. we get a 3% raise each year, for the next 3 yrs. and most importantly the extra cirricular pay got bumped as well. they are based on the base pay of a 1st year teacher, but it has been frozen for the past couple yrs. i have 3 extras, one it 4% of base, one is 5%, and one is 11%.

good times are ahead

One of my interviews was like that. I met the guy in the lobby, we took a walk through the factory and then sat down in a conference room for 5-10 min and I was on my way. I knew the two other guys who went through the same round of interviews, and they said it was the same for them as well.

The one for my current job was a-whole-nother story. I met the HR lady for about 15 min, she handed me off to the dept. head and we talked for another 15 or so min. We then went upstairs where I interviewed with three different engineers from the group I hired into. After that was over, I met back up with the HR lady and dept. head again. All said, it was a 2.5 hour marathon.

I saw that awhile back, and have to say, much of it should be common sense. Lying to cops is a bad idea, and telling them to search your bag when you have incriminating evidence in it is just plain dumb.
