I'm not calling myself "house poor"

although I did have to downgrade my beer selection and lessen my bar trips,

Yeah, I couldn't think of a better term for it. Believe, I've seen a lot of house poor people lately. Like with several rooms with no furniture.

thats just not right. my parents got all new funiture when i got my house cause they gave me all the stuff they had.

I've been there. I bought what i needed, family room, kitchen, bedroom. There is no sense in running out to buy furniture just to fill rooms you don't use much. I bought furniture 4 years ago that I wish I had of taken more time to think about.
