Jerry Angelo's completely right. He's getting a thousand-percent raise. And its all his fault because being the second-highest paid Bear behind only Brian Urlacher is evidently a sign of disrespect on the team, which is why he turned down the long-term extension offered to him last year.

I look at it like this . . . I'd take Adalius Thomas over Lance Briggs because I believe Briggs benefits MIGHTILY from playing next to Urlacher, and Thomas just got a six-year, $35 million deal. So that should set the market for Briggs' expectaitons. If not, well . . . I remember the last WLB the Bears lost that was going to just be devastating . . . who was it that replaced Rosevelt Colvin again? Who? Lance Briggs? I rest my case.
