RE:autometer lunar series volt gauge for sale
Tom what kind of harness to you have and how much was it
Classing question-> Ive got a class worksheet and it says "replaced bodypanels with other than original" not legal for SM. So that means no Z3's etc. So what class does that put you in?

I last years rule book, and the online pdf fo the 2005 rules, SM specifically allows for modification/replacement of hoods, fenders, front and rear fascias and sideskirts.
I have a Scroth ASM Ralleye Cross harness with the wrap mount (wrapped around my ST200 RSTB). It runs $150 on soloperformance.com.

Cougar classes from slowest to fastest:
G Stock -> Street Touring S -> D Street Prepared -> Street Modified -> something Prepared -> something Modified As you step up the classes more and more mods are allowed. The Cougar isn't terribly competitive (at least at a national level), but anything above DSP and you're pretty much just running for fun unless the classes are soft locally.

RE: autometer lunar series volt gauge for sale
If you run near the top of your class, you run the risk of being protested if they suspect you have illegal mods. This means a thorough inspection of your car which could go as far as partial disassembly. Not likely at a local event, but a very definate probability at a national one.
