granted one of those holes was edgerian james, one of the best running backs in the league. but they missed tackle after tackle on him,, but that has alway been a bit of a problem for them

I think the massive passing yardage they allowed a rookie starting what his 2nd game? was a bigger hole.

I wouldn't call 232 yards "massive". Like I said before, the defensive scheming was bizarre. The Bears needed to play more press coverage and have the corners right in the receiver's face instead of giving them that five or six yard cushion. Arizona ran screens and quick outs all night. I don't think the Bears were outplayed or outschemed, I just think Ron Rivera failed to make the necessary adjustments.

The fact they tackled like absolute **** is definitely a bigger concern to me.

Watching that first drive was really frustrating. You had:
5 yard pass
-1 yard run
6 yard pass
9 yard pass
5 yard run
8 yard run
2 yard run
1 yard pass
5 yard run
6 yard run
6 yard run
11 yard pass for TD

There were 12 plays, and the Cards were held to less than 5 yards on only 3 in that entire drive and only 1 went for more than 10. The should have realized pretty quickly that consistant 5-9 yard plays will move the ball steadily into the endzone unless you do something to stop them.

I was in class for the 1st half or so ... i didnt watch the game that well BUT it seemed to me he was passing for good yardage.
