BBOX one of the guys at the autox yesterday told me that at their nationals races at daytona they get their karts up to 160 mph.

Well, the driver's side went fine, but we were having problems getting that one out with the pry-real-hard-and-it-will-just-pop-out method, so we removed the passenger side one and hammered the driver's side shaft out. Somewhere along the way the threads on the pass drive shaft got damaged and ended up stripping when we went to put the hub nut on. So Steve's car is currently sitting in the driveway with the pass side suspension disassembled and no drive shaft. Putting back together shouldn't be too bad, but we need a new/rebuilt driveshaft first.
