hmmm, looks like the smart car is officially coming to the states.... lets see how well a $22k car with 47hp sells....

Unless you live and work in a large city, there is little reason to actually buy one. The car seems much more suited to Europe or Japan.

Brabus has already done that with the Smart Roadster. Although, IIRC the ForTwo is the only model they're bringing to the US and would make a really crappy platform for a performance car. I believe it won Top Gear's comedy handling award though.

There are tons of them here in Canada.

Hell there was a smart car meet at the same park as Can-am this year. We had like 15 cougars, they had over 200 Smart cars!
