Re: The Undead Gateway Thread

Do they pay you extra tho for taking on sound responsibilities? You did have some late nights because of that

Re: The Undead Gateway Thread

yeah i get paid for actually doing the lights and sound stuff. But im building the new sound booth for free cause i didnt trust maintenance to do it the way it needed to be, plus they have enough to do. And i get to BS with the electricians that are hooking up the new stuff so i really know how all the new stuff is gonna run.

Re: The Undead Gateway Thread

that definitely has something to do with it.

My favorite was the Boeing staff electrician that carried around what amounted to a big fork with a thick rubber handle. Apparently tracing circuits in a large facility like that is hard so he just jammed the fork in the wall and tripped the circuits.

We had some electricians here doing the wiring and I asked one how many times he had been shocked. He said at least a couple times a year on small jobs. Big jobs they know better and take more precautions because those shocks will kill you.

These are Mazda techs and one of them has worked on Fords and Mazdas for over 20 years and is master certified. Plus he actually works on the CD4Es. I don't think Terry even messes with those.

but yeah, if you want to take Terry's word over Ford and people who have been certified to work on them for years, then yeah . . . you can worry about it for no real reason.
