both dexconIII/Mercron and Mercron V were availible at the time our cars were made but they used the prior rather than the latter and specifically noted not to use the latter.... I dont like this one bit.

the sound booth construction is done minus the lid since they were still doing wiring today, gonna go in on monday and finish it up and then one more day to carpet the whole thing. its gonna sound sweet. cant wait for big screen halo again

well, you can either listen to the other Terry (not sure who that is) or you can listen to Ford. Seriously, if it eats your gears then it sounds like you have reason to sue Ford and get a new vehicle!

the other terry is terry haynes. the mtx rebuilder extraordinare. he helped design the mtx 75

hes the one that everyone sends theere tannies to rebuild. he beefs them up. I dont think he built trannys for leo. I think leo built his own trannys

I asked the techs here, they said there is nothing in Mercon V that will eat gears. I've gotten a history on trans fluid today, more then I think I ever needed to know. Basically manufactures change them all the time. These are upgrades for the better, to withstand higher temps or friction additives.
