Basically mark out three days for sure, but, there needs to be time for welding the ports. It's been actually pretty easy. The next engine will be a lot easier.

why do you need to weld the ports? carefull with the raising of the hand there tom, especially with such an open question that mary posted like "doing it"

woo hoo...i get to act like i'm smart. The 3.0 liter has oval ports and the 2.5 has dual ports. There is also a notch (3.0) in the middle of the oval port that will need to be filled in. The 2.5 has the notch on the left port. Which means you'll have to cut that out of the head. Ok, so it sounds like I don't know much, but, once it's taken apart, you'll understand. Plus, check out the oval porting under the 3.0 section, it'll have pictures on how to do it also.
