Re: The Undead Gateway Thread

SO what you're saying Terry, is that I should hold off on my CF hood for a while then eh? If you could make a hood that weighs two pounds and is stronger than stock . . . I mean . . . ye gods. You should make that front bumper with Roush fronts and do the same for the rear. And . . . oooh, damn you man. Now you've got my wishlist growing.

dont get me wrong, I wanna start making parts, but I have a number of projects already underway that need completion first. plus the vacuum pump I need runs at least 900 bucks [plus probably about 2 grand in all the misc stuff you dont realize you need].

I have no idea how well I can produce car parts either, remember I am trained in making boat hulls... very different. I've never had to deal with alignment gaps and mounting points.

anyways, if I had to put a time frame on things, I'd say like next summer. its not exactly high on my priority list right now [that I can positively say my father would kick me out if I started accumulating 200 pound key molds in the garage... so I also gotta get my own place first].

Re: The Undead Gateway Thread

Definately understandable. My plans extend out several years as well and are subject to a whole lot of stuff which can't be predicted.

Tell me about it! My Mustang started out a few years ago as a simple torque box reinforment project, Now it has turned into this!

Re: The Undead Gateway Thread

Looks similar to the status of my Bronco. I have a frame with two axles, the steering box/linkage, fuel and brake lines.
Next step - body tub
