fragile, no, not at all. remember my fabrication method is much much different than what they use in the auto industry. if my boat hulls were fragile, well then, I would probably be dead.

I dont see any reason that they cant be made around the 2# mark. The contouring of the bumper is different than anything I've made before, but I should be able to do it with 2-twill rather than the 4x4 weave.

gimmie a list of parts that can potentially be replaced. I'm looking at getting my own vacuum pump so I can start doing cf fabrication again. remember everything I could make would need to be painted, I am not doing this for astetic reasons [that adds weight]
