Re: The Undead Gateway Thread

The main game i play, EverQuest 2, has a WIDE range of settings... if you try and select the Extreme setting, you get a warning. "We do not believe that there is a system made yet that wont crash at these levels." I tried it .... ya crashed the system. But it looks smoking hot at 1/2 settings i play at ... at 3/4 its choppy but looks amazing.

We had a 'Tour run a couple of times last year. Moxnix, over on CEG, used to drive a 'Tour, but now drives a Miata. I'm not sure if he Autocrossed the 'Tour, but I do know he doesn't have it any more.

I'm looking forward to less body roll this season.

Jason, are there any Autocross events nearby during Fest?

I only saw a reference to a CF front bumper cover. I believe that should be legal since bumper covers can be changed (can't remove the actual bumper though), but I'd have to check to see if there is wording that refers to the weight.

STL also has one on the 9th. It's the wrong direction for everyone but me though.

I'd had a discussion with someone about this and we concluded the Countour had a little more potential (at least in DSP). You'd be able to get a stripper version which would be quite light, and through the update/backdate rule swap in an SVT engine. All else being equal, you'd be up 30 hp on an equivelantly modded Cougar.

I still plan on running the Cougar though since I prefer it, and no CDW27 platform car is nationally competitive anyway. They can hold their own at the local level though.
