Re: The Undead Gateway Thread

Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio: a fellow
of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy: he hath
borne me on his back a thousand times; and now, how
abhorred in my imagination it is! my gorge rims at
it. Here hung those lips that I have kissed I know
not how oft. Where be your gibes now? your
gambols? your songs? your flashes of merriment,
that were wont to set the table on a roar? Not one
now, to mock your own grinning? quite chap-fallen?
Now get you to my lady's chamber, and tell her, let
her paint an inch thick, to this favour she must
come; make her laugh at that.

Is it also true that IL is going to start putting speed cameras in construction zones? Something about $375 fines for first offenses and $1000 fine and 6 month suspension for a second offense. Seems a bit steep to me since I rarely see workers in them, but not unbelievable either.

drivers have alot of rights on IL roads and camera monitoring systems have always had sketchy leagal grounds here. Its true that theres been alot of talk about this. The fines are very real, but the cameras are about a 50/50 shot on weither they will be allowed [historically they would be a big no-no but lately that mentality has changed ALOT]

I always thought the same thing about cameras, but I noticed Chicago has red light cameras now.

Re: The Undead Gateway Thread

Well you have to watch it when you see a camera, but not all are red light cameras for ticketing. Some are on newer intersections where it wasn't worth it to rip up the pavement for sensors, with the new technology on the market cameras can visually recognize a car waiting at a light.

Re: The Undead Gateway Thread

The ones in Chicago that were being talked about on the news were for ticketing.
