    Ford Evos

So the Evos was debuted in Frankfurt and I have to say it's pretty damn cool looking. Its back end is a little short, but it looks pretty mean and slick. The interior gagetry also looks like it'd be real fun. Too bad the cool looks were slapped onto a plug in electric. =( What do you all think of it?

First off the Evos is a concept, if the chasis even moves of it's own power it might not be plug in and whatever car does get a lot of it's styling from it will probably be at best a hybrid.

Ford has invested a lot of money into Gasoline Turbo Direct Injection, I really don't see them going for a plug in electric model any time soon, especially when all the parts exist to crank out hundreds of thousands of EcoBoost cars a year while GM has a two year waiting list for the Volt due to supply shortages.

As to the design, yeah, that's pretty sweet. Reminds me a lot of the Aston Martin 1992+ DB series cars.

its definitely an interesting design. however ill take the new Jag C-X16 instead. should come with a S/C 3L V6 making 380HP AND a motor generator integrated into the transmission that provides and extra 95HP and 173TQ from a battery pack that gets charged through brake regeneration. this motor is then activated via a boost button on the steering wheel.

Well I know it's a concept, Ford wouldn't put something into production that's that shocking. I think the Cougar concept is a good example of that.

I like how aggressive the 'headlights' make it look, though I wonder if they actually do provide any real amount of lighting.

I don't like the steering wheel put in it. It's an even beefier version of their current standard, which was just pulled out of the Mondeo. They managed to make the part where I put my hand the most the beefiest part of the wheel so I can't get a good grasp on it. I really like the 01/02 wheel out of the Cougar because it's basically slender all around and gives a good grip.
