I've been clean for a while now. Haven't bought anything for the car, haven't raced. Now the wife wants power and wants to race. So this has gotten me back to an all to familiar place, lol. I'm running an autoX event the 1st of October with a couple of additions. Whiteline sway bars and some R-comps.










Here's what I'm thinking for future power. The goal is 30psi on the current turbo or possible turbo upgrade, but I like the response from my 2871R hybrid. Anymore lag and autoX won't be that fun.




Internals, keeping it a 2.0l. Around $1400 from Gruppe-S.

i would look into the rules first. you might not be able to run the alcohol in autox. i have a whole slew of things that are getting done before next year as well. both should be interesting builds

Depends on the turbo I run. Not really shooting for power, just safe with good response. Right now I'm 350whp at 19psi and I still have a fuel pump to go in. But if the rule stands, 8 to 10hp per psi, I'll be pretty happy.

I wouldn't see why not but that's a good thought. Wouldn't be an issue to turn it off and switch maps. Utec remote map selector FTW. I can change maps on the fly

There are tons of options. forged 2.0l, 2.2l, 2.5l(EJ25 STi block), 2.75l, 2.7l. Axis, Crawford, Cobb, Cosworth, and some others all make short blocks
