![]() Good god, invest in a floor jack already. I got my low-profile jack for about $100, and you can get jack stands for like $20/pair.

Those style jacks are very commonly used in the fabrication world but are called height adjusters and are usually to set a car/frame/project to finalized ride height. So its nothing to completely laugh at but still stupid in this scenario.

Yeah, I'm sure the height adjusters are a bit stronger than the stock jacks that come with the car. IDK though.....either way, I use jack stands.....6 of em. I've got 6 holding it up now in fact.
