I just saw on some show the other day, In Europe going into Mass production this year is an all electric car. It runs on Compressed air and there are 3 Compressed air tanks. The price was like 15K but it has not features. I think it did have cruise. On one charge you can go for 400 Miles and if you you will run out of air. it takes 5 minutes(at a gas station) to fill it back up with air.

They also have a hybrid version in development and it will go from los angelos to New york on one tank of gas with no recharging. The gas is used strictly to run the air compressor to refill your air tanks.

It looks just like a smart car.

around Portland, there are tons of zapcars around (mostly the xebra 3 wheelers). PGE, the local electric utility company, has them for their company cars (at least downtown), and one of the local loaner car companies (like flexcar) uses them. Then to top it off, there are a number of free downtown curbside charging stations that are powered by wind/hydro/solar sourced power.

I don't know. I'm so torn at this point. I've planned out payments and everything, but I just got my Cougar out of the shop and can't even imagine selling her. I'm also considering running my Cougar until she croaks then taking whatever I can get for her. That way I can save up more money and spend less on a loan.

get a 2 door yaris, more space with the same gas milege. Plus they look nice in the interior, another option is the accent. Also im talking about there 2 door models.

Smart Car plus GSXR equals “Smartuki,” a VERY Smart Car

I would love to get one, but only for novelty value.. I would love to get one to do the GSXR Transplant, but that probably would cost a lot of money and time, seeing as though it took a team of people to engineer the one above.. Not quite a bolt on mod.
