Re: Honest opinions wanted on HHR SS

I like the looks actually and 6.3 0-60 will beat my SVT handily. Sounds like a great car for those that need room and it's easier on gas.

Re: Honest opinions wanted on HHR SS

Personally, I'd prefer a honda fit or dodge magnum. I'd recommend looking into both.

Buy an Outback, or a Legacy GT hatchback. You'll be much happier.

That car is ugly as sin.

Re: Honest opinions wanted on HHR SS

I actualy like them. ONLY the SS version though. Good power, decent handling, lots of cargo space, and very comfortable (I'm 6'5)...

Re: Honest opinions wanted on HHR SS

Yup, I heart my mini-sub

Edit: I have the 2.4....its plenty fine for me. I did test drive the SS and it was a blast, enough pep to keep ya happy and plenty of cargo room. Car still drives great. Not the best for cornering, but you wouldnt buy that car for it anyway.

The SIDI 2.0 is a kick-arse motor, I must say. I love mine!

Re: Honest opinions wanted on HHR SS

I waited it out and did nothing. Financing $40,000 on a compact car (including Negative Equity) just didn't sit well with me.

I've looked at Magnums extensively, the 3.5 is a dog in that car. The hemi is fantastic, but if I ever lose my company gas card It'd cost me $400/month for fuel vs the $280 I was paying for the G6.

I couldn't rock a Honda fit. Just not interested at all in a sub compact.

Scions aren't sold up here. I'm back searching again.
