Cool lowered my mustang

Yup, just need to go get an alignment and see how close we can get it back to stock. If not even close ill end up buying camber/caster plates.

Heres a few pics
prokit

tokico's

No iso's in the front, 1 in the rear (top one) The isolators are a piece of rubber above and below the spring to give the ride more cushion. without them... more drop.

i love me some rake

front gap (2 fingers)

rear gap (3 1/2 fingers)

i still need to wait til the springs settle a bit, but yup... pretty easy install, had a few minor setbacks during it (had to rethread a strut bolt when it got stripped) but it was fun and rewarding.

Re: lowered my mustang

I figure after I get my new rims, will be time to get springs for it. I dont want a huge drop, but getting rid of some wheel gap will be priority.

she probably doesnt want a harsh ride... although mine isnt bad at all really.. its still smooth, just firmer

other than suspension, MAC CAI, 3/8" intake manifold spacer, Steeda short shifter, white face guages, rear decklid vinyl + tailight tint, Mach one chin spoiler and grill delete, i THINK the previous owner had a flowmaster welded in because it sounds alot deeper than my buddies stock one, and the muffler looks like a flow... or a knock off one.

about 20 times better.

seriously the stock mustang feels so floaty and has a tremendous amount of body roll.
Now it has very little roll and the ride is much more stiff.

As far as suspension goes, i still need to get both upgraded sway bars, subframe connectors, and strut bars. That along with some fatty tires i should be holding the road like crazy

Wow, I wish I could fit wheels that wide on my goat. I just got new wheels and could only do a 8" in the front and a 9.5" in the rear. So, can the V6 even break loose a rear tire that wide.
