Corn fed Cougar?

how can the Cougar be adapted to run E85?

Sorry just thinking of the day when buying E85 will in fact be more efficent than normal gasoline.... (which is sometime soon/now I bet)

I rather get an aftermarket fuel kit... to avoid possible performance improvements down the road. ie me not buying something twice.

either that... tell me how to convert to hydrogen combustion

man I have some outlandish goals.... *sigh*

Re: Corn fed Cougar?

I know that it returns only about 75% of the MPG....IIRC I'll look up then edit

but if you factor in the price of premium...
its probably a worth while venture.
It does have a higher octane rating than standard gasoline... thus giving you some more bang for your buck

I'm hoping this is a chance for farmers to invest in vertical farming technology if they stand to make a lot of money from this. This way you're not wasting valuable farmland used for editable produce for biofuels. Large silo's that are setup to till, water and harvest GM crops grown specifically for use as a fuel.

E85 actualy has a lower octane rating than gasoline. And it's really only about 70% as efficiant as gasoline. And it WILL make your car run like ass. Wallmart managed to slip some into my gas tank when I had one of my tires replaced. I thought I they had blown a headgasket or something untill I realized what happened.

And I dont think it takes to much to retrofit a gas engine to run on E85, since all GM vehicles since 82 were listed as "FlexFuel Capable"

everything that i have read goes agenst that statement. yeah if you just put it into a car it will run like ass, you need the proper mods and it runs great.
