Re: Cougar Replacement

Personally id go with a rx8, ive found it more fun to drive and cruise in than the rest. ANother option is the altima coupe, they look nice and fun to drive.

Re: Cougar Replacement

Read up on the G35 before you consider it. They have serious engine problems right off the floor which nissan hasn't been owning up to. Read about it on the G35 forums.

Re: Cougar Replacement

I went with the Colbolt SS because the Neon SRT 4 has had bad oil problems, im not sure if Dodge has fixed them but i wanted one at one point and have changed my mind because of the oil problems i have heard of.

Turbo's 4's = good gas mileage depending on how you drive it.

Out of that list it would have to be the WRX or G35, the rest are garbage. I had an 04 WRX and liked it, just dont expect power until you start really swapping turbos, injectors and finding a good tuner locally that knows what the hell they are doing. Oh yeah, and if you stick with a TMIC, have fun with heat soak in traffic. Expect your tune to be a little flaky in colder weather as well. In a stock platform the WRX is slow. Stage II is a good starting point, but still probably not going to be where you want it, thats where the protune would come in. Anyways, good luck with it all.

2002/2003 Honda S2000 10 13.33%
2003 Nissan 350Z 9 12.00%
2003/2004 Infinity G35 Coupe 24 32.00%
2005/2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS/SC 8 10.67%
2004 Subaru WRX 22 29.33%
2004 Dodge SRT-4

Honda...yeah I just dont like Hondas...so cross that out

Nissan, Well for me I dont like cars that are too popular...

Infinity, Great car, and looks good too

Chevy, I dunno...tell you the truth...havent heard much...good OR bad...

WRX, OMG, you HAVE to get that! its my favorite car of ALL time...and plus its 4 wheel drive, and I read somewhere that its a really good crash rating

SRT-4, garbage...I only read a few of the earlier posts...but someone said its for teens who are insecure...absolutely right, srt's are garbage as hell! I wouldnt be caught dead in that death trap...

So either its the G35 or the WRX
