TurboNeonStore.com is an amazing site for SRT-4 owners, they have it all.
Pick up a late 90's Miata for $5000-6000 and throw a Supercharger kit from any of a number of suppliers about $2K and have an extremely good handing, very fast, tunable car with the drive wheels on the right end for less money then a crappy Chrysler product.

Don't forget that you're insurance on a Miata will be cheaper then on a SRT-4.

The ONLY thing a Neon can do better then a Miata is carry golf clubs.

Re: Looking at an SRT-4...

SRT-4 is crazy fast in a straight line, let it handle a curve and it won't be as quick. Someone around town has a SRT-4 heavily modded putting out over 400whp, wheel spin in 3rd gear chirping 4th...i almost cried the first time i rode in it lol. Cheap, fast, easy to upgrade, cheap to upgrade, I'd like one.

Re: Looking at an SRT-4...

wheel spin through 3rd and a little in 4th......well imagine that in a FWD car with 400whp

Probably wouldn't get better than a mid to high 12 in the quarter either

Re: Looking at an SRT-4...

your definitely going to want to check out INSURANCE PRICES first.

because 'fastest car under 20k' also earned it some other titles.
