Re: Automotive 'Family Tree'

pssh, I don't care if TopGear says you have to own an Alfa to be considered a true car enthusiast... I rather enjoy NOT being stranded on the side of the road

Tell me you don't want this:

I also happen to be watching the TG episode in which James drives the 159. A car I want so badly, it hurts.

Re: Automotive 'Family Tree'

I wonder how that will affect any snobby Jaguar owners...

Right... what company owns your car now? Tata?

Re: Automotive 'Family Tree'

I have visions of Jaguar owners getting Dell like support on the phone.
"Is your engine in the ON position?"

Re: Automotive 'Family Tree'

Basically, this is how the auto industry works.

American cars are still owned by the Americans except for partial ownership by the Germans but it's okay because most American cars are made in Mexico or Canada anyway neither of which who really make their own cars but it's no big deal because British cars are really just American cars and now some of them are Indian cars or German cars but the Italians don't even truly have their own cars anymore they're all owned in part by the Americans or by the Germans but even then some of the Germans own the Japanese but hey even the French own some of the Japanese and the Koreans and the Swedes and even the Americans a little bit but strangely enough nobody wants to own the French but the Japanese make their cars here in the US anyway.

And Korean cars still suck.
