Mustang Rebuild........ Updated 08/22/2008
I posted this in the Gold Members section without thinking. If the other post needs to be deleted, please do so.

I finally decided which way to go with the Pyro5.0! I found a guy to do the rebuild for it. Figured if anyone was interested, here is a progress thread. He picked the car up yesterday at noon and has already started working on it.

I thought about putting a different motor in it. I even thought about going carb, but with all the money I am going to have to sink into it as it is, it is starying with a stock motor. It wasn't damamged in the fire. It looks a lot worse than it really is. The heads are stock, but I have a polished Typhoon upper and lower intake, billet fuel rail and a billet regulator. Chrome valve covers and I just ordered a BBK Cold air and mass air yesterday. I pick up the 3" Cowl hood tomorrow.

Glad to see you are rebuilding it. I was very sad for you and the car when you posted up the pics after the fire. So, what kind of battery are you going to run in that bad boy now, or you you just planing to jump start it all of the time and run complete off the alternator.
