Only thing I see wrong with this pic , is the Fram oil filter Shelly. That is what caused your original problems!

Re: Mustang Rebuild........ Updated 05/19/2008

Here Mav, I just posted the short version for you

"Well, I talked to the guy who is rebuilding my Mustang and I feel MUCH better. He has just been really busy. He started the car and it fired right up……..no problems. He said now he just needs to put the seats back in, the shifter and some other things and it will be done. Get this. He is only charging me $10/hr to do the work. Of course I bought all the parts and things and paid the people who own the garage $200 for storage and electricity use………………here is the kicker. He says he only has about 50 hours in the car. For those of you that are math impaired, that is a total of $500 in labor!!!!!! THAT IS IT!!! I plan on giving him about $2K for his efforts, I think that is only fair. There is NO way in hell he only has 50 hours in that car. "

Re: Mustang Rebuild........ Updated 05/19/2008

Wow, it is that guy sure he is doing his math right, only $500 is just silly cheap. If he is doing the paint as well, then I'm going to assume he meant $100/hour @ 50 hours. Honestly $5k seems about right for that work if it includes paint. Otherwise if he was just pulling and swaping old parts for new and someone else did the paint, then the $2k you plan to offer him sounds good. I paid my uncle $500 just to paint the front bumper, fenders and one door on my silver cougar even though he didn't ask for anything.
