Kind of cool but come one now, SVT/Ford couldn't have done anything to make it faster, they had to S/C it, the couldn't have just dropped in something bigger? I think going with F/I off the lot kinda kills the whole "modern day muscle" thing. Muscle cars were more knows for their huge NA power, I think at least.
Yes muscle cars were known for their huge N/A power but like you said they are an example of modern day muscle. A modern take on the old muscle cars. Why not use modern technology like super chargers and turbos to make that huge power without having to make cars with big heavy 400+ CI engines.

03-04 cobras handle pretty good but come on now, SVT/Ford couldn't have done anything to make it handle like an old heavy tank of a car, they had to give it modern suspension, they couldn't have just used the suspension from a 69 mustang. while they're at it why couldn't they put some bias ply tires on as well. None of that modern tire technology on a modern muscle car.

I used to be confused, but now I just don't know.

Why was that cool? Everyone knows Cobra's are fast, so why would they even bother with some ricer Civic? Apparently I just didn't get the point...
