I dunno but kinda looked like his drive shaft broke and stuck in the ground (hence the first bounce of the back end) then pushed the rear end out the back.
Or he has really killer brakes on the rear end.

Isn't that way a driveshaft loop is required on cars like that? to prevent the driveshaft from "polevaulting" the car?

it seems like it would take more than a driveshaft braking and polevaulting to knock the rear end out, the mythbusters car didn't even do that. And if it was the driveshaft, with the force it used to knock out the rear end a driveshaft loop doesn't look like it would have stopped that, have you seen how week some of those loops are? Very thin metal.
