Thats a slick car. The earliest I'd be stateside is February, but if its still available, I'd take it off your hands. I really, really, really want another Cougar.

I'm deployed to Iraq right now. I want to start a project car when I get back stateside, something to keep me occupied while I'm in college, seeing as I'll be getting out of the Marines in less than a year

I'm hellbent on getting a Cougar, and I'd prefer to buy one here rather than Autotrader or something. Price limit sits at $8,000 for me.

I hear ya on the tight money situation being a student. I went to a $34k a year school strictly off student loans that I'm paying for with no help from my parents. On top of those loans, I have my car payment, and all my other bills. I soo badly wish I could help you out by taking this car off your hands bc I really miss having a cougar and I'm dying to rebuild my 3L and put it in something. I'd love to keep the miles off my Redline since I have to drive so far to work, but I have all my other bills to pay right now. Good luck with the sale, it's a great looking car. You won't regret getting an education over the car. School is way more important. Just think, when you get your job when your done with school then you won't have to worry about something like this happening to you again.

Your definitely right about it paying off in the end but its still hard to get rid of a car you have put tons of time and work into inorder to make it exactly what you want. I'm going to miss that car but I'm sure I'll get something insane after law school so its all good. Good luck with your loans man and thanks
