Bringing in pictures

So im looking on the FAQ section on how to post pictures up on the forum, and its says to do something like {img}VALUE{/img} or something like that....so my question is how do you get the picture? so you copy and paste? Or is it more to it

right click the picture, and copy the link location (url), then paste it between the [img] tags

[*img] image url [/im]

make sure to remove the *

You can't just use an image from your computer, it's gotta be uploaded on the web. I like xs.to as a quick host. I think NECO does have an image uploader, but it's a pain in the ass to use.

the end one should be [/IMG] and I always use caps (not sure if it makes a difference or not).

+1 with neco uploader being a pain in the ass - also you can't delete the pix that you uploaded so they are on here forever (unless theres some secret way to get rid of them that I haven't found yet)

it is under user control panel. it is manage attachments.

when i go there it says i have no attachments, but if you look at my profile, you can clearly see one of the pictures I uploaded there, lol.

Does photobucket work well with Neco? Seems like that would be pretty easy. and what exactly is xs.? pretty knew to the script scene

photobucket is all i use, and its great, just remember to copy the [img] link whenever you want to post here.
