"Garage" Feature?
OK, so this isn't really a "forum issue", but something for the suggestion box.
I don't know if vBulletin supports this, but another forum I frequent has a "Garage" that is really a nice feature and would probably go a long way here. It is a little like the photo gallery here, with a little more info. Here's a link to my page on the site. As you can see, it might (MIGHT) save on some noob posts around here if we have that much info available in a click. CougarDB is similar, but you can't beat the convenience of having it right here on the same site... Anyways, just a thought. Check it out. If the forum software has the capability, give it a shot! I'm not sure how much time, upkeep, and maintenance it would involve, though. Just thinking out loud...

True; gold and platinum members get to create their own, while standard free memberships are read-only.

There seems to be a lot of issue installing vBGarage on our current version of vBulletin. I have this on the radar once some issues are fixed.

The garage there looks like the one that's an add-on for PHP-Nuke. We have it over on the Impala forum, too - it's pretty nice.
