Threads "locked"

I dont know if i'm or i read this..that locked threads will go to the bottom of the list when you do anything, "search" or just go on a forum.
I, personally, think we should just delete threads that have no value in the forums its just a waste of space. i.e. "whats the best intake" "I have P0174...etc codes" and all those infamous threads. Just a thought...
and if this thread has been mentioned then its just hypocritical haha
just tried to make a point bc i want to see whats threads are open in the FS and most of them were locked and the ones were open were middle or towards the end.

Will

Re: Threads "locked"

So if they are in the middle or towards the end what's the problem?

Re: Threads "locked"

Not all locked threads are useless. Usefull threads do get off topic quite a bit as well. So instead of going post by post to try to prune. Just lock it and let it be.

Or you can lock a topic, then post a reply and make someone look like a poon. Right Melinda?

Re: Threads "locked"

There's no reason to delete for sale threads in which you're talking about. They are locked instead. This is so they can be looked upon later in case we need to look up someone's past transaction history, so we have the threads to prove it.

It's pretty simple . . .

Re: Threads "locked"

So error codes and what they mean is useless information? Hmm.

Or if you are new to the FS section and need pricing info. Or if you are planning on buying something and need to see what others have gone for to be sure your not getting ripped.
