Logged out quickly if not constantly refreshing

When I'm logged into the forums, and composing a post or message, I sometimes get logged out before I get done. Yes, I'm a slow composer, but it seems to me that it's about 10 minutes without loading a new page or doing a refresh that gets me kicked out (and sometimes my composition lost!)

I looked in User CP & didn't see anything to set for length of inactivity....

Odd thing is that CEG's forum doesn't kick me out nearly as quickly... and it looks like the same setup.

I use mostly Firefox, sometimes Opera, seldom IE, but it seems to happen in all of them.

Any suggestions? (My current fix is have a second tab open & refresh it every so often... but if I'm focused on what I'm typing I forget, and then I'm logged out.)

Check the "remember me" box when you login and all will be fine.

I've had that happen to me on CEG too when I don't click the remember me box.
That should definitely fix your problem.
