RE:Nitrous Oxide - FAQ (Ressurected!)

as far as the fuel is concerned on my NX wet kit, i spliced into the fuel line with a T right before "the little shiny thing" going TO the fuel rail. It is a hard plastic line so you will need to buy some high pressure fuel line along with some good clamps!

RE:Nitrous Oxide - FAQ (Ressurected!)

i will let someone else comment further cause mine is a return style cougar not a returnless and i don't know if the wet kits work differently on the different style fuel systems. i would imagine they would be the same.

BTW you might wanna make another topic for this question before George's fact gets all cluttered up

Re: Nitrous Oxide - FAQ (Ressurected!)

return fuel systems... use a fuel pressure regulator, and possibly better fuel pump

returnless fuel system... tap before the fuel pressure sending unit, and get a better fuel pump

Re: Nitrous Oxide - FAQ (Ressurected!)

wade mentioned to me that you should not run a dry kit on a 2000 cougar because it has a return style fuel pump. is this true? is it possible? if not, is there any way to convert my dry kit to a wet kit?

if there ever was a doubt in the return style fuel pump a Walbro will drop right in with little to no mods.

what kind of dry kit do you have?...usually all you would need is a fuel solenoid, some extra lines, fittings, and a new nozzle that has a fuel+NO2 inlet.

Re: Nitrous Oxide - FAQ (Ressurected!)

i know that alot of people hate this but NOS stands for Nitrous Oxide System even tho it is a brand name it can also be used as an acronym for any other nitrous system. thats just my opinion
