Re: Avert Thine Eyes (OR: Andyman S/C Build Thread) ***FINISHED!!!***

end result:

The car runs perfectly. I couldn't of ask for a better setup then this. No heistation like it use to run before. Just solid.
Now its like driving a completely new car. The spec 3+ is going to have to take some time getting use to it. The first day or two i was kinda scared of driving the car ha
I was struggling to drive the car slow because it just wants to take off so badly.
But i will figure it out.
Again hats off for Dan for an awsome job

The 3+ for me was kinda rough in engagment too at first. Give it a few months of daily driving and it will feel just like stock

Re: Avert Thine Eyes (OR: Andyman S/C Build Thread) ***FINISHED!!!***

I also drove a Stage 3+ but unlike you, I welcomed the extremely (in comparison) easy engagement. I've grown accustomed to the Spec 3 harsh engagement and can slip is quite easily now, but the effort involved isn't worth the effort if a softer pedal option exists ... at least in my eye. What is there not to like ... it holds 100 ft/lbs more torque and engages like stock ... granted, after driving a regular stage 3, you have to double check to make sure that you do in fact have clutch engagement, but still, what's there not to like?

Re: Avert Thine Eyes (OR: Andyman S/C Build Thread) ***FINISHED!!!***

you got a good point. I am very thankful for the car being the way it is now. Just need some more time with the clutch. I am sure it takes alot of getting use to at first.
