there are threads on here already that compare the supercharger to the turbo. try searching around a bit.

Re: 3.0/2.5 forced induction qustion

well the good thing about a turbo/supercharger kit for the 2.5L is that. down the rod when u want to do an 3.0L swap than the turbo/supercharger can be swap to the 3.0L with no problems. and + a turbo or supercharge 2.5 will out run an stock 3.oL cougar or contour

Yeah, why bother having useless facts in the way?

Re: 3.0/2.5 forced induction qustion

Okay okay, back to F/I. Personally, i would go with a 3.0l swap to start out with, then you can build from there. I wouldnt put F/I on your 2.5l only to find out that three months later you want a 3.0. Yes, the F/I components are all easily transferable, but why not save yourself some time and just go 3.0l to start out with. Plus, 2.5? 3.0? 2.5? 3.0? is the decision really that hard?

Either way you decide to go, you should learn how to use correct punctuation and capitalization when you type because it is sometimes difficult to see what you're trying to say.

With that out of the way I'd say the first thing you need to do is come up with a budget. Not just a total amount you want to spend but a parts budget and work from that. This will help in multiple way because you will find a lot of info on the different setups you're looking at, while giving you an idea of what it will cost to obtain the parts needed.
