Re: Turbo peices, hotside and cold side

You couldnt get the pipes powder coated well at least the hot pipes?...because of rust purposes, come spring time there is alot of salt on the road from winter where i live. or i imagine i could get them done here.

Re: Turbo peices, hotside and cold side

stainless steel (type 304/304l doesnt rust, its food grade stainless)
powerder coat wont last on the hot pipes, it will burn off, and jet hot coatings (ceramic coatings) will cost a good bit $$ to have done

Re: Turbo peices, hotside and cold side

Yeah, he built his stealth and then it blew up. I don't recall the details at this point. I believe when Greg left this off he was out of a job for a little while so money was tight, and then he I think he got a few to many cars. I think he has 4 right now.

Re: Turbo peices, hotside and cold side

yeah ive been HELLA busy with the new job 145 + hour pay periods (2 weeks)
and working 2nd shift ive had no time to do anything but eat sleep and work, and as Dan mentioned, money has been really really tight for me lately

i still plan on doing this do dont get too worried.

as for the zetec, yea i can do it but i would need a zetec coug/contour to work off of since the closest thing ive had to work with was a zx2 when i had mine

Currently im trying to sell my zx2 shell.
as of right now i have
SVT contour
RT/TT stealth
and a gutted zx2 race car l
