Re: Turbo peices, hotside and cold side

You going to got 2.5" down? also when do you plan on starting this project? i want a turbo im my car come spring wheather its ur kit if its worthy or a nautilus kit

What size of cold pipes 2.5 as well? and are you going to include the intake side of the turbo the filter n all? Are you going to fab up brackets to the pipes in certian locations cause there is many places that need it..Cause im seriously interested in this if i can spend the $1400 or less if you will go without the intercooler cause like i said i got one and i would just buy my self a turbo and BOV and 44mm WG...I am good friends with a guy out of edmonton that owns AFIperformance so he would dyno n tune my car

Re: Turbo peices, hotside and cold side

...Is there gonna be enough exhaust pressure for the 3" down? considering this isnt going to be wildly boosted what 8-13psi? 2.5" is more than enough. just putting some past discusted points in

Hight wouldnt matter but what kind of lenght r u looking at? To make things easier i would just buy the kit with the FMIC that you offer and mod it where i have to, to make it work with my FMIC no biggi

And do 3" from filter to turbo inlet

Considering it would be a completely different setup with practically no parts in common, yeah, I'm pretty sure there would be.

I know how the engine bays are, im in the middle of doing tranny work to the SVT.only reason for on an engine stand is to perfect what ive done in car already. trust me i know how to fabricate in tight areas.

in a friends zx2 before i started the down pipe, not to mention the radiator, a/c condersor and cooling fans inplace, looks open till you add all the rest, not to mention the very very limited space between the a/c pump and down pipe(not pictured) oh and the welding quality i have as well are pictured here too, im currently looking for the images.

fabrication is is nothing to me, you think the csvt/cougar engine bay is cramped,? ever take a look at a stealth RT/TT/ 3kgt VR4 engine bay. go make some turbo turbo kit to run twin50 trims or a single gt40 or larger turbo and get back to me.

oh and not to mention my kits will be 100% tig welded for best appearances and strength.

Re: Turbo peices, hotside and cold side

it will come bare, all the hot side stuff will be stainless.
the charge pipes(cold pipes) will be semi-polished, but i dont have the equipment to polish them, the will lose their shine when around the weld.

im working on this currently to turbo my contour, so as soon as im done and i like how it fits.

give me a month or so....also time depends on how my buddy wants to do this when he gets money so i can also use his cougar as well.
