Question on Nautilus turbo kit...

I am gonna pass on on cosmetic upgrades for my coug and focus on performance now. I was just wondering...after I purchase the nautilus stage one turbo kit from nautilus, what all will I need to complete the install and to get my car running smoothly. I am looking for a price range to start saving towards. I have a stock internalled 2.5L V6. Only performance mods thus far are GMK full cold air intake and magnaflow cat-back. I am gonna assume that I will need a chip of some sort, headers, battery relocation kit, etc.? Things like that are what I want clarified. I'm the type that wants a good price estimate and every part purchased and ready to go before I ever make a move.

So what else will I have to do, and approx. what will it cost me?

(Anyone near north-eastern indiana that may help me install all this stuff once i get it?)

Re: Question on Nautilus turbo kit...

have you checked out their website? it lists what you will get and you get everything you need except something to tune the car with, ie you need to buy a chip or an xcal2 from them also.

if you followed any of the threads here or on CEG the kit bolts to the stock exhaust manifolds therefor you can have stock exhaust manifolds w/pre cats or headers. also a build mtx is recomended ....

Re: Question on Nautilus turbo kit...

yea, the stoc diff's barely last with a 3L. that should be your first investment. Maybe a new clutch also.

Re: Question on Nautilus turbo kit...

Okay. That's not too bad. Basically what I was thinking. Thanks.

Where's the best place (price-wise) to get a torsen or quaife differential?

The "best" place changes weekly, depending on supply and demand. Terry Haines has the best pricing on the Quaife. If you want the Torsen, you can order through any Ford dealership, but most folks here order through either Bill (800) 791-6436 or Steve (800) 792-1050.

Re: Question on Nautilus turbo kit...

Terry has a great price on the quaife, but terry is not a retailer. He will not sell it for that price.
