No, open wastegate is a reference to how the wastegate is routed. Open = exhaust is routed to atmosphere before any mufflers and such. It's also called "Divorced" as a "Married" routing would join the wastegate to the exhaust system.

Trevor,

It looks like you are running stainless piping correct? Would it help to switch over to aluminum piping? The aluminum will transfer heat better and may help with the temps.

Wouldnt ceramic coating help even more ?

I love your setup man, then again I am kinda bias,lol Our set ups look the same from the under hood view except for location of the intake.
