Right you are. More testing proved the diagram to be correct, but I never could get Analog Input #2 - recommended by SCT - to work right.

Re: Project: Mavro Gato - 99 Turbo'd 3L

Gary ... I'm glad you finally found your problem, but your process doesn't answer my problem. I independantly probed all 9 pins on the male while sending signal through the wires so I could map my mini-din's wire colors. After doing that I provided a solid ground to pin #2 and then tested BOTH 6 and 9 with a signal and neither would log

You had the XCal connected by ODB2, USB, and the analog cable, right? Did you try logging a battery voltage with the neg terminal on pin 2 and the pos terminal on pin 6? Also beware: pins 3 & 4 carry voltage when the XCal is on!

Re: Project: Mavro Gato - 99 Turbo'd 3L

Yes, I had it configured properly to datalog the parameters, but nothing would come across. I haven't tried what you said with regards to the battery, but will in a few days ... I assume you used an AA battery (1.6v max).

Re: Project: Mavro Gato - 99 Turbo'd 3L

I spoke things over with wife in great detail on plans for the car and the decision has been made to sell the car without dropping in a stage 3+ clutch. However, before selling the car, I will finish with my plans on getting the cooling issue resolved along with the oil consumption through the PCV System/Valve Covers. Once the car is 100% sorted mechanically, she will be for sale.

So, what does this mean ... the car's limits are going to be limited to whatever a SPEC stage 3 can hold on the dyno without slipping. I'm going to speculate here and guess that will occur around 14-15psi and roughly 425+ whp & 410+ wtq. However, before selling the car, it will be put on the dyno one last time

If by chance you are interested in purchasing the car, PM me your offer as I'm taking offers at this time. Don't waste your time or mine unless you are serious and you are willing to wait for the car to be fully sorted mechanically.

That didn't take long to let it go, but someone will be a happy camper. How many miles do you have on it so far?

Re: Project: Mavro Gato - 99 Turbo'd 3L

I tried to get some good daylight video, but the camera mount was slightly loose, lending to a very cool "time warp" type effect when the boost kicked in.
