it's on the internet so it must be right...

i'm also curious what type of tool you used to test a 500 amp load at 12.5 volts... by my calculations that's 6250 watts

you know thoses car battery charger/starters you can buy at auto parts stores... you can start a car with no battery using one of them... notice how when you slide it into the "start" position it says 75 amps right next to it... ever wonder why?

I got an order of silicone couplers, more ss clamps, some ss exhaust hangers, tons of 3" ss tubing, an intercooler (something MUCH different) and a manual boost controller (looking for simple and dependable to start off with) on the way ... all should be here just after Christmas ... no more updates until then.

my solar boat sucked 72000watts in drag configuration [36v @ 2000amps].

and yes with the chargers, the "start" will say 75amps, but thats not the cold cranking amps... theres a difference

Re: Project: Mavro Gato (56K ... Get a cup of coffee)

Talk of the battery is really a moot point. Tom ran a 100 amp circuit breaker for over a year and it didn't trip during starting the car ... enough said on this subject.

Yeah, on our cars I have and on most imports. Cadillac... who knows.
