Re: Project: Mavro Gato (56K ... Get a cup of coffee)

I can assure you 100% these are not Weapon-R (I distain them ... not to mention I said it's 16 gauge metal ... IIRC, Weapon-R is thinner). They where custom made by a master fabricator named Jesus. Who Jesus works for will for the time being remain a mystery since I gave his employer my word so he wouldn't be bothered with more questions. However, he does follow these boards from time-to-time, so if he wishes to let himself know, he will. That's all I can say for now on that ... on to a different subject please.

Also, they where based on the stock header end points so that my "kit" will be a direct bolt-on without requiring you to replace the stock headers. If you so choose, you will make much more power, but not a requirement. This will allow just about anyone to install my turbo kit by themselves in their driveway with little to no help in a full work day.

I assume that means your kit will also work with MSDS headers too?

correct, but in these situations, I would recommend to the owner to remove the headers from the car, have them media blasted and sent to Jet-Hot for their 2000 degree coating (if it's not already). Mild steel in a turbo application will begin to fatigue and wear much faster than normal due to higher exhaust temps.

Lookn' good. That is kick ass that your kit will work with the stock manifolds, very smart thinking.

I just want my kit to make decent power (for the price) and be reliable. No racing here... well not until those points are achieved. It's up to the consumer to determine what's "better" for them. I'd hope mine would be easier to install than a turbo as that's a main goal I'm shooting for.

And yours will be since the customer doesn't need to touch anything exhaust related
