Re: Interest in Supercharger setup

I pulled the Cougar out of storage this past weekend and got it up and running. My brother and his friend came over and said they would help rake my yard if I gave them a ride. How could I turn that down? So I killed two birds with one stone.

The supercharger is still pulling like mad! I still need to get that lightning MAF in there and have it tuned again to see how much more I can squeeze out of it.

I finished another 3L Contour which I'll be using as a daily driver. I plan on putting the kit on it to verify it fits under the hood of the contour. I'm not sure if I'm going to completely hook it up or just test fit it.

Re: Interest in Supercharger setup

Update:

I decided to install the base 6psi kit on one of my 3L SVT Contours I just finished. I was a bit worried I'd run into issues as the hood, bumper and fender area are slightly different. So far everything looks great. The supercharger fits under the hood, which was a major concern. The piping I precut based on my kit all fit perfectly. The oil feed line is setup. I was able to keep the battery up front in this car (running a smaller walmart battery) even with the aftermarket coolant tank and the intake piping by it. I still need to drill a hole in the oil pan for the oil drain and I should be finished. I have lots of pictures I can post up when I'm done.
