Re: Interest in Supercharger setup

damn it i want this kit now... it would work perfectly with my no secondary motor... that way it can suck in all the air it wants under the 4k rpm range. and wouldn't have to worry bout no heistation or stumbling or nothing of that nature

Re: Interest in Supercharger setup

I am very VERY interested in this setup, but I have a few questions that were probably answered in the previous 41 pages....

1- would this kit work on an auto car?

2- about how much would it run for a kit with a small intercooler making about 6lbs cost?

3- about how much fwhp could I expect on a 2.5, and how much of an improvement would that be?

Thanks!

1) should be able to if you look at the pics for the set up I see no reason why it would not.

2) read up a few post the kit he thinks will be around 6K

3) depends on what is done to your car and he has not dyno'd it yet. at least i dont think he has

1. Yes this kit will work on an automatic

2. Similar to the previous vortech kit that has since been discontinued an intercooler is not recommended when running at or under 6-7psi. The kit is currently going to cost about $3k!

3. No idea, I'm going to have my 3L dynoed this week with this kit on it. Expect a 2.5L to be nearly identical in power numbers put out from the previous vortech kit.
