Re: Interest in Supercharger setup

I finally got the tensioner back from the shop today but it rubs the main serpentine slightly. I need to have it shortened a bit to move the pulley away from the engine about a 1/4" before I can give it a try.

I had the machine shop at my work cut it down a bit. I'll give it a try this weekend.

This thing is sexy... and it will fit on an ATX! I'm still debating between doing an MTX swap and Nautilus Turbo, or leaving the car as an ATX and getting your S/C kit

Re: Interest in Supercharger setup

I was able to get a successful run in last night after getting everything back together and the idler seems to do it's job. I still have an alignment issue with the idler pulley as the belt slipped over one rib on the supercharger pulley. The idler bracket needs to be cut down another 1/8" which I should be able to get done today.

edit: I just got it cut down so I can give it a try when I get home today to make sure it's all lined up correctly.

Re: Interest in Supercharger setup

Woot car builds boost perfectly now! 10psi on my 3L is insane. I need to get some tuning to dial the air fuel in. I'll try and get a dyno tune setup for the car soon.

Re: Interest in Supercharger setup

FYI the stock SVT clutch will not hold 11psi of boost when shifting near redline....

I'm adding the intercooler back into the kit to lower intake temps and once I'm happy with the temps I'll get it dynoed.
