Re: Interest in Supercharger setup

As far as the kit: I'm waiting on Jrak to get a working coolant tank.

The W8 is nice but very spendy to maintain. I haven't had to replace the HIDs and I hope I never have to. I had to replace CV joint boots and front brakes this year. That was about $700 and was mostly part costs.

Re: Interest in Supercharger setup

Woot I finally have a working coolant tank I can install! I'll get it installed on the Cougar and drop the supercharger setup in there and finish up the bracket.

Re: Interest in Supercharger setup

The tank is fitted and the supercharger is in there. I'm going to drop the car off at the machine shop so they can copy the modifications I made to the bracket onto the other brackets they have. I'll get some pics up soon.

Re: Interest in Supercharger setup

Tested the stock hood on my car to make sure it still shuts normally. Everything seems to fit still so that's good news. I'm dropping the car off tomorrow to see if I can get a tensioner pulley added to the setup or a idler pulley and some slots to adjust the supercharger position for tension adjustment. After that I we need to work on piping which shouldn't be much a problem.
