March 21st. Anyone up for a meet in Orlando or Tampa?

Its a Sunday.

I'm gonna be in central Florida in Sebring (2 hours south of Orlando) at the 12 Hours of Sebring car race. I'll be leaving the track on the 21st (sunday) and will still have a couple of days vacation to burn.

I'll probably be there in the Cougar, but I may not. Eitherway, I'll be there.

as for the 21st, maybe we could get a couple people to head over to sebring and watch the races?? thats a while away, but i know it is a possibility in my mind....we'll have to see as it gets closer

Yeah, the trip to sebring seemed like a swell idea last year, then everyone backed out and poor Allen ended going solo if I remember correctly.

Allen, after sebring you should shoot up to Daytona for the Cougar show, I think thats where I'll be.

The big 12 hour race is on the 20th (saturday). Sunday is the day I'll be leaving the track and heading to who knows where.


Remember from last year, noone wanted to pay the price of a ticket ($60) to go to the race. And there's not much reason to go this year since niether Capaldi or Mumm are racing their Cougars anymore. Capaldi is switching to a Focus, and Mumm is going back to SCCA spec racers.

However if any of you rather outrageous race fans (like me) or those who like a spring break type atmosphere (lots of off track activities ) I will have my own trackside reserved parking spot with plenty of room for you to camp out. Still have to pay ticket price ($60 for ticket and $10 for parking) but I will be there from Wednesday until Sunday afternoon. I'll have drinks, food, Playstation 2, tv, vcr/dvd, and a tent set up.


As far as Daytona, I'm not really wanting to travel that far north then back cause I do want to drop by my sisters in Orlando at some point while I'm in central Florida. I was kinda hoping for something in Orlando, maybe even Tampa.


Also, I will be borrowing my dad's Expedition since I'll have ALOT of stuff to haul with me. Just know that teh Coug is still here, and is actually back in one peice again.

you can stay at our place in Brandon if you like, just pm me. we'll be moving in feb so won't be able to spend the $60 each to go to the race but would be great to have a meet (like Tampa doesn't already have enough, heheh ). glad to hear you still have your coug.
