is the flnecoers gonna get serious about a meet. personally i would like to meet some fellow cougar enthusiasts. i've seen plenty of people bring up a meet then the thread just fades away.

The only Kat for me
realistically the next meet will probably be around thanksgiving if chris and michelle (sunni and loyalty) are kind enough to extend their home and cooking to us again like they have the last few years. the problem is that flneco is way smaller than it used to be and the few members that are left and active are for the most part very spread out across the state. because of that, its very hard to get members to drive the distances needed to have a sucessful meet, and of course having gas above $4/gallon doesn't help matters.
several of us just went to cougarfest in indianapolis and now there is talk about them bringing back bash which will likely be a lot closer to FL than IN was.
personally, im not in the position i was last year financially to put together another meet right now (regardless of how much i'd like to). kendra was talking (dont know if she was serious or just messing around) about having a get together at her new place. and marge has been talking about having a neco party at her place one day before she sells it.
the best way to get a meet going is to be serious about it. a lot of the treads that come up about it are just feelers, but its rare that somebody actually steps up to the plate and pulls it all together. if you would like to have a meet, throw some ideas/locations/dates up for people to discuss, make some polls, and put together a plan
hope that helps,
mike
CougarGurl: I didn't gag though, I was very proud of myself!
Bdiddy : i love freshman. i get older, and they stay the same age. haha!
CougarGrrl99 : my sauce is yummy
Ariadne : don't worry, I'll eat your sushi
im down we did one and it was very successful plus we went on one with ceg at one point in time
lol and plus I WOULD LIKE TO CALL OUT HOTCAT YES I SAID IT
on a race against MY old car and the zn and his blue cougar and the zn
thx mike it did help. i would try and plan something but i cant even plan out my day without screwing it all up. i guess i was just asking if one anyone good at planning things would attempt to put something together.

Yeah Mike brought up a good point.....$4 a gallon sucks teh assxors.
FLNECO used to be the happening place in NECO. Those of us in Tampa at the time would meet literally EVERY weekend. Sunni and I will most likely have a Thanksgiving meet like we have for the past 5 years. We're in the process of moving to a bigger house so I'm sure she'll want to have everyone over anyway.
Plus I don't know about everyone else but I've been working about 60 hours a week (my thread will explain that).

Well, I'm over here in the western panhandle and there's nobody else in Pensacola. I think that Panama City or Fort Walton is where the closest NECOers to me are. I'd be closer to Mobile for a meet but there's nobody over there either...at least that I know of.![]()
I'll be moving BACK to florida next friday. Lakeland, Florida to be exact. So tampa and orlando are within a stones throw...i've only met one or two "NECOers" Count me in for a meet if one comes about.
