East Coast here I come!
Well I'm moving to Hyde Park for culinary school, starts July 29!! I'm super excited cause I graduated 2 years ago from HS and I'm ready to move on
 Possibly taking a road trip from ND south to Texas, then to Florida and up to NY a weekish beforehand.Can't wait to finally be in an area where I have more access to NECO events. Hit me up if you're in the area, be nice to meet some NECOers in person!

and by the way absolutely no neco members in this area except for albany when you coming cause i'm moving to az june 1st....where you living i live in the hyde park condos on the ledges....lots of culinary kids here too..

Haha, well sweet to know a NECOer WAS living in the area I guess. I'm going to be living on campus for the first year at least, but brining me cougar out. I'd die without a car >.> I'm giong to be out there around July 28th, first day we can move in. Orientation starts the next day. Is it a nice little town out there?

Haha, sounds sweet. Go banana, go go banana! Gas is still 3.59 around here, gonna start sucking around summer when I actually get out there :*(

yea the people are cool around here and there is a good bar like 2mins up the road called darby o gills......love it great bar!! there a lot! and a discount beer store so your golden man!

Awesome! Congrats on getting into the CIA. I just found out that Duff (Ace of Cakes) graduated there, his commencement speech is on youtube. (My uncle went there as well. I was told not to go there because chef-life sucks and now I am an accountant
 .)There are a group of former neco-ers around that we might be able to get together at some point. We've met up a couple of times in Poughkeepsie and Newburgh. Curtis and I, at least, might get together once a year. If he still has a car.
